Historic Truck Finds a Home at the Chamber
September 29, 2024
A meticulously-restored piece of Northbrook’s history is now in residence at 2002 Walters Avenue. Manufactured in Northbrook in the mid-1920s by the Reiland & Bree Company, the truck is about the same age as the Chamber’s home, the historic Civic Building. We are proud to partner with the Historical Society to protect this treasure. Feel free to stop by the building for a tour!
Attendees at the recent Advocacy Roundtable enjoyed a tour of the Civic Building and learned about the Reiland & Bree truck from Martin Cobb (center), Chairman of Indak Mfg. Corp., who led the truck's restoration volunteers.
