It’s Chamber Checkup Month!
Maximize Your Visibility and build SEO with a Strong Member Profile
The Chamber performs a verification analysis annually to make sure your information, staff representatives, and services are up to date.
Your Chamber member profile isn’t just a listing—it’s a marketing tool that helps customers, partners, and other members discover your business. September is the Chamber’s annual Account Checkup month, the perfect opportunity to update your profile and make sure you’re putting your best digital foot forward.
Why it matters:
- First Impressions Count. Your business description on org is often the first introduction potential customers see. Help your business stand out and build trust with a clear, up-to-date profile that spotlights your products, services, and unique strengths.
- Boost Your SEO. Did you know that chamber of commerce websites are preferred by Google and other search engines as reliable information sources? Your optimized content, including your description and additional keywords, increases your visibility both on the Chamber website and in broader web searches.
- More Ways to Connect. Including links to your LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram pages ensures customers can easily find you on the platforms they use most. This is also a chance to confirm the accuracy of contact information to help you connect with fellow Chamber members as well as website visitors.
- Highlight Your Value. Whether you’re a Standard, Gold, or Platinum member, your profile is your chance to spotlight your products, services, and unique strengths. Expanded character counts and unlimited keywords for Gold and Platinum members offer even more room to shine.
On Monday, September 8, the Chamber will send an account checkup email to your company’s primary representative. Please complete updates by September 30 to ensure your profile is working as hard as you are.
- Review and refresh your business description, including your published address and contact information.
- Make sure your primary and billing representatives are correct.
- Confirm your current representatives and update email addresses so your team receives Chamber event invitations and news.
- Add your business social media links to grow your reach.
Your member profile is a tool that amplifies your visibility, credibility, and connections. Make yours work for you! Questions? Contact Communications Director Carolyn Gessner for help fine-tuning your profile.
