It’s Chamber Checkup Month!
August 25, 2026
Update Your Info to Maximize Your Visibility
On Tuesday, September 8, the Chamber will send an account checkup email to your company’s primary representative. This is an annual data base “clean-up” to make sure you can be found by search engines and Chamber website visitors.
Please return updates by October 1; our staff will make edits to ensure your profile is working as hard as you are.
- Make sure we have a current primary rep on your account.
- Review and update your business description, including your published address and contact information.
- Make sure your primary and billing representatives are correct.
- Confirm your current representatives and update email addresses so your team receives Chamber event invitations and news.
- Add your business social media links to grow your reach.
Your Chamber member profile isn’t just a listing—it’s a marketing tool that helps customers, partners, and other members discover your business. September is the Chamber’s annual Account Checkup month, the perfect opportunity to refresh your profile and make sure you’re putting your best digital foot forward. Watch for your check-up email coming on September 8!
Why it matters:
- First Impressions Count. Your business description on org is often the first introduction potential customers see. Help your business stand out and build trust with a clear, up-to-date profile that emphasizes your products, services, and strengths.
- Boost Your SEO. Did you know that chamber of commerce websites are preferred by Google and other search engines as reliable information sources? Your optimized content, including your description and additional keywords, increases your visibility both on the Chamber website and in broader web searches.
- Stay in Touch. Accurate representative contact information in the database ensures that you’ll stay up-to-date on chamber opportunities and events. It also helps you build connections with fellow members via the Member Portal.
- Extend Your Social Media Reach. Including links to your LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram pages ensures customers can easily find your social media content.
