Small Business Week is coming up May 3 - 9, the perfect time to recognize the importance and impact of small businesses in our community. As vital service providers, employers, taxpayers, and resources, our small businesses are the engines that keep communities thriving. Throughout the week, the Chamber welcomes you to drop-in for tips and ideas to support your business.

A Chamber Check-up for Small Business Week

Make the most of your Chamber investment! Here are five easy steps you can take this week – in our office or remotely!

Monday: Drop-in Day, Noon to 3:00 - Meetup at the chamber office with ambassadors, mentees, and other members. Invite someone you want to have a conversation with!

Update Your Microsite - Take a look at your company’s profile on northbrookchamber.org. This page is your introduction to potential customers and other businesses who use the Chamber’s website as a reliable source of referrals. Does your business description make a great first impression? Is your contact info correct? You can make edits via the Member Portal or contact the Chamber staff for assistance.

Tuesday: AI Chat Drop-in, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm - Do you love AI, or need ideas on how to use it? Come in for a chat with members who share their expertise.

Register for an Event - From educational workshops to networking get-togethers to engaging fundraisers, Chamber events are available to fit everyone’s schedules and interests. Visit business.northbrookchamber.org/events for a listing of upcoming programs, or watch your email for weekly reminders and convenient registration links. Not sure where to start? Wednesday: Brand Your Business at the Golf Outing and More – Drop-in hours from 10:00 to 3:00 p.m.: The Annual VIP Golf Outing on June 1 is an outstanding way to make your business stand out!  Come by to discuss sponsorships and other ways to promote your business.

Join our Facebook Group - Connect with engaged Chamber members through our private Facebook group. Once approved, you can pot news, questions, events and more at your convenience. Click here to join.

Thursday & Friday: Membership Minutes – Drop in from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Membership questions? Need help? Meet with our Membership Director and other staff to help you navigate tools, marketing, events and more!

Post an Exclusive Offer or Job Post - Share an ad on our website for a limited time offer or a job opening - there's no cost to post and it enhances your SEO! Add your content via the member portal or contact Communications Director Carolyn Gessner for assistance.
